Legendary Cricketer Kumara Chokshanada Sangakkara which is mostly known as Kumar Sangakkara retires from the test Cricket, Who scored total of 12400, 14234 and 1382 runs in test, ODI and T20 respectively.
Sangakkara start his First test Debut on 2000 July 20 Against South Africa and played his last test Against India.
Sangakkara Played more than 20 Test matches and scored a huge score in Srilanka Cricket history.
He was also awarded with the prestigious award “Wisden Leading Cricketer in the World” in 2011 and 2015.
Sangakkara gained world wide attention by being the youngest person to deliver the MCC Spirit of Cricket lecture at Lords.
Before joining cricket he use to represent Sri lankan Schools in Tennis.
He also holds a record of securing second most Double Centuries in a career. He has 11 double centuries under his umbrella. the first one being Don Bradman with 12 double centuries.
